Sarah Palin’s recent trip to New York was the theme for David Letterman’s top ten list Monday night.
Then on Tuesday’s show, Letterman joked in his opening monologue that the governor visited Yankee Stadium, sitting in “far, far right field” with Rudy Giuliani. “They had a wonderful time,” he continued. “The toughest part of her visit was keeping Eliot Spitzer away from her daughter.”

Sarah, who was in New York for an autism awareness event before heading to Washington for a Republican fundraiser, responded to the jabs from the David Letterman on John Ziegler’s radio show, evidently missing the Late Night host’s intended humor.
“Pretty pathetic, good old David Letterman, that old David Letterman, what a commentary there … very sad to not recognize what this trip was all about,” she said. “Just doing some good things here for some good people in New York… such a distortion.” She added that she had not visited Bloomingdale’s and concluded, “Slow news day, evidently.”?
Below is a video of John Ziegler on MSNBC discussing his interview with Sarah. Do you think David was out of line?
